Affordable Housing Preservation

We have preserved 20,000+ units across our active portfolio — keeping them affordable through restrictive covenants and statutory abatements structured in partnership with more than 90 development and ownership partners across 55 counties in North and South Carolina.

Economic Mobility & Resident Services

SAHA supports economic mobility for residents through strategic partnerships with entities like NOAH Property Management. SAHA funds a positive rent reporting program that turns on-time rent payments into credit history. FlexPay and deposit alternatives are services offered by our property management partners — SAHA supported the adoption of both. Onsite case management, funded by SAHA, connects residents to food access, utility assistance, veterans' benefits, and employment resources.
